Job Description: Procurement Service Center Senior Analyst

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Procurement Senior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading moderate to complex transactional procurement activities for assigned regions
• Implementing end‑to‑end purchase order lifecycle management and data accuracy controls
• Determining root causes of procurement issues and supporting corrective and preventive actions
• Supporting suppliers, internal teams, and global partners through issue resolution and compliance adherence

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Overall 4-6 years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years in procurement operations or transactional procurement; experience with ERP systems such as SAP
• Experience working in a Shared Service Center or BPO, primarily in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or Source-to-Pay Buying activities

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong communication skills with fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Strong customer service orientation and quality‑focused work approach.
• Proficient analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong skills in MS Office applications; advanced Excel or Power BI skills are an advantage.
• Experience with procurement tools (Ariba, Coupa, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively with a structured and organized approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
