Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics / Operations Location: San Carlos / Palo Alto, CA (on‑site) Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM About 1X We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. Role Summary Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Lead a team to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement in logistics performance. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and feedback. - Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, putaway, order fulfillment, and shipping. - Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and variance resolution. - Monitor key metrics such as order accuracy, throughput, and shrinkage. - Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce cost. - Enforce safety standards and warehouse policies. - Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to meet operational goals. - Resolve day-to-day issues related to staffing, scheduling, and equipment. - Proven experience leading warehouse or distribution operations. - Strong understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory management, and logistics. - Proficiency with WMS, ERP, or inventory tracking systems. - Ability to analyze operational data and act on performance trends. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented and process-driven in fast-paced environments. - Knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance standards.
