Are you looking to take your Finance career to the next level? Are you a qualified Finance Manager? Do you have experience working for a 3PL or within a logistics or commercial background?
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager based in Crick to partner with the Senior Leadership Team, lead the finance functions and work closely with our Customers.

We’re looking to offer a salary of between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum plus car or car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
As Senior Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting operational excellence:

Develop a strong understanding of the business area and contracts therein to be able to support all financial planning and reporting.

Lead the Finance implementation of new business wins in line with our ways of working.

Work closely with the Account Director and Contract Managers to develop and improve current reporting procedures, both financial and KPIs.

Improve credibility and understanding of business performance, ensuring accuracy and integrity of numbers and analysis reported.

Lead review of results (both internal and Customer facing) with a view to input towards driving continuous improvement.

Management of finance support for the business area.
-
Running the Month end processes such as journal posting, variance analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

Lead Commercial reviews and preparation as required.

Drive the annual Budget and monthly Rolling Forecast preparation with business leads for review and approval by Senior FBP & Country MD.

Drafting Capital investment proposals in line with company policy.
-
Pro-active communication with Directors and business managers to ensure compliance with company processes.

Collaborating with Corporate Finance to monitor and manage contract-related debt.

Participate in ad-hoc analysis as required.

Be able to think on your feet and contribute to provide solutions.

Act as a Business partner to the Site/Contract Managers.
What you need to succeed at XPO:

Strong Stakeholder management style
-
Experience in Month end reporting
-
Experienced in Budget/Forecast preparation
-
Experienced with Balance sheet reconciliations
-
Experience in Director level presentations
-
Strong IT skills are a mandatory requirement particularly Excel and SAP
-
Previous experience within transport and warehousing would be beneficial
