Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manager Accounting to join IPSD BR REPS– -Global Finance Services Division

The preference for this role is to be based out of Hosur-HPL

What you will do

We are seeking a Manager Accounting to support the REPS operations at the Hosur facility within IPSD. This role is responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, costing, statutory compliance, and monthly closing activities. The Manager Accounting plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy of financial data, supporting operations with cost insights, complying with corporate and local requirements, and partnering with global teams across IPSD.

Below are the main responsibilities associated with the position. Specific activities may include:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and SOX requirements.
  • Lead month‑end and year‑end close (GLS, journal entries, reconciliations, cost accounting).
  • Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate statutory audit, cost audit, internal audit, and corporate audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and local regulatory requirements.

Costing & Operational Support

  • Lead WIP accounting, inventory reconciliations, cost variance analysis, and abnormal cost review.
  • Provide cost insights for operations, including Variable, Period, and Capital charge analysis.
  • Support production reporting, statistical data submission, and CBS/GLS extract requirements.
  • Validate sales, cost of sales, inbound/outbound freight, warehouse invoices, and standard hours.

Financial Planning & Analysis (ABP / RBM)

  • Support ABP and RBM cycles, including volume, cost, and P&L analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze Form M (ABP vs Actual and PY vs Actual).
  • Submit sales and material cost data for segmental reporting and advance tax computations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Provide monthly production, shipment, and operating hour reports.
  • Work closely with LE teams, Corporate Global Tax, Consolidation, SCM, Operations, Treasury, and PSLD.
  • Support Investor Model NPC calculation, LT2 split rule submission, and other corporate requests.

People Leadership

  • Build strong working relationships with facility leadership and global finance partners.

What you will have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (required).
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience with SAP/eSAP, GLS, Axiom, or similar financial systems.
  • Pre‑advanced English.
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the Hosur Facility

  • Strong background in cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
  • Experience supporting audits and corporate reporting cycles.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Advanced/fluent English skills.

Technical Accounting Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting methods, cost classification, and financial documentation.
  • Proficiency with major accounting systems and tools (GLS, SAP/eSAP).
  • Ability to prepare and review financial statements and cost reports.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Reads and interprets financial statements.
  • Applies forecasting and modeling techniques.
  • Ensures compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
