About the Role

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting high quality food in accordance with standard recipes and food safety guidelines. You will support the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, produce and present food in line with established recipes and standards
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP principles
• Assist with daily stock checks and ordering as required
• Minimise food wastage and maintain portion control
• Ensure a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
• Communicate effectively with the Chef and wider team
• Deliver exceptional customer service to owners and guests
• Contribute positively to menus, team operations and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work productively in a fast paced environment
• Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
• Relevant qualifications or currently working toward required state qualifications
