About the Team
The Workday Build Outbound Product Management team is the strategic engine driving the adoption, success, and evolution of Workday’s unified developer platform. While our inbound peers focus on "how we build it," we are passionate about "how the world builds with it!" We represent Workday’s shift toward an open, extensible, and agentic ecosystem.
Our team sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and the external Market, serving as the primary link between our internal innovation and the developers, partners, and customers who use Workday Build to redefine the future of work.
About the Role:
As an Outbound Product Manager for Workday Integrations, you will sit at the intersection of product strategy, Inbound Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales. Workday Orchestrate is the backbone of our open platform initiative, allowing customers to build sophisticated, cross-application workflows with low-code ease.
In this role, you aren’t just marketing a product; you work with our internal builders and the external developer community. You will become part of the Build toolset and ensure developers have the tools and connectivity they need to extend Workday beyond its traditional boundaries. You will serve as the link between the market and the product team, acting as a voice of the customer and developer by translating sophisticated technical feedback and business needs into actionable product insights to improve the product roadmap. You will lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) and evangelism strategy for Workday Orchestrate, creating high-impact technical content that empower a developer audience.
Beyond content, you will drive direct customer and developer engagement by leading technical workshops and Early Adopter Programs to ensure developers are using our open platform tools to their potential.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years proven experience in Product Management, specifically in the Outbound role. Proven experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, product management, technology, or equivalent is a plus.
- BA, BS, or equivalent degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
Other Qualifications
- Have deep expertise in the SaaS integration landscape (APIs, Webhooks, GraphQL) with the ability to architect stories that align product value
- Proficient at translating sophisticated data flows and auth protocols (OAuth, SAML) into compelling sales collateral, pitch decks, and demos for non-technical team members.
- Experience leading Early Adopter Programs and Customer Advisory Boards to validate integration roadmaps and prioritize technical investments with Product and Partner teams.
- Confirmed ability to represent the organization as a subject matter expert at industry conferences, partner summits, and executive briefings.
- Confident in front of customers and developers.
Our Approach to Flexible Work:
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.
Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security. Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers.
Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not.
In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.
