About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled ASEAN Solution Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's Financials applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.
About the Role
In this role, you will leverage your deep finance and accounting expertise, strong ERP domain knowledge, and executive-level presentation skills to articulate and differentiate the value of Workday Financial Management. You will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance Transformation leaders, and IT stakeholders, leading solution design and shaping strategic conversations that drive measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities

Deliver compelling, high-impact product presentations and demonstrations centered on the unified Workday Financial Management platform, including core Financials, Projects, Reporting & Analytics, and adjacent solutions.

Lead discovery sessions and ideation workshops to uncover and validate customer business needs, use cases, and transformation goals across finance operations.

Translate complex finance challenges into end-to-end solution narratives that improve finance user experience (finance teams, business users), operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to validate technical feasibility, confirm integration requirements, and align solutions with the client’s existing systems and architecture.

Facilitate strategic, outcome-driven discussions with CFOs and senior finance leaders to ensure solutions align with long-term finance strategy, operating model, and digital transformation roadmap.

Clearly articulate and quantify business value, including improved close cycles, increased process automation, enhanced financial visibility, and stronger governance and compliance.

Partner with Sales and Technical teams to design solution frameworks that account for integrations, data flows, security, and scalability—ensuring solutions are practical, achievable, and differentiated.

Serve as a finance domain and ERP expert, confidently addressing complex questions from Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.

Contribute to sales enablement activities, including opportunity qualification, demonstration strategy, RFI/RFP responses, proof-of-concept design, and sales cycle closure plans.

Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior solution consultants, raising the overall quality and consistency of Financials presales execution.

Support regional initiatives, customer events, and executive briefings as a Finance and ERP subject-matter expert.

Ability to travel up to 50%, based on business and customer needs.
About You
Basic Qualifications
-
6–10 years of experience across finance and accounting domains, including General Ledger, AP, AR, Projects, Financial Reporting, and related processes.

5 years of functional, implementation, consulting, or presales experience with Financial Management or ERP solutions.

Proven experience engaging with enterprise finance stakeholders, including Controllers, CFOs, and Finance Transformation leaders.

You are a credible, dynamic finance transformation expert, ready to help organizations sell and operate the future of finance today.

An outstanding and confident presenter with strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging and persuading CFOs, Finance VPs, Controllers, and senior IT leaders.

Extensive experience in the finance and ERP technology space, with deep knowledge of Financial Management, ERP, EPM, and analytics platforms, and how they are applied to modernize finance operations.

A recognized subject-matter expert across the end-to-end finance lifecycle, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, projects, and financial reporting—particularly within complex, multi-entity or high-volume environments.

Strong passion for AI, machine learning, automation, and agentic AI, with a clear point of view on how these technologies are transforming finance processes, insights, and decision-making.

Genuinely excited about Workday Financial Management and motivated to represent Workday’s next-generation AI-powered finance capabilities to the market.

Deep understanding of the finance operating model, enabling you to speak fluently with the Office of the CFO about governance, controls, efficiency, agility, and business outcomes—not just system features.

Proven ability to map customer-specific finance challenges directly to AI- and technology-driven solutions, articulating value in terms of faster close, improved visibility, stronger compliance, and reduced manual effort—rather than simply listing product functionality.
