• 5 Years of strong hands-on experience in writing advanced/complex SQL queries.
• 2 Years of experience in Query optimization.
• Ability to re-write existing SQL,R scripts, Python Scripts into optimized/efficient SQL code.
• hands-on experience in Data Engineering using Snowflake, AWS Lambda, Python
• 4 years of work experience with development, Data warehousing and end-to-end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Experience in creating ETL pipeline to copy data from various sources like Vendor API, (CSV, JSON etc) files, database systems like SAP, JDE, or SQL Server into the Snowflake platform using tools like AWS Lambda (Python) and Fivetran.
• Experience in Writing DBT models, macros, familiarity with seed and hooks. Understanding of DBT from design perspective to use reusable and performance optimized tools. Strong understanding of concept like dbt tags, build, run, runtime and environment variables, test.
• Experience working with AWS S3, Cloud Watch, Athena, lambda, glue, step functions. Ability to debug failure of Glue and Lambda jobs in python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD process, experience working with Version Control tool(Github).
• Must have Analytical, troubleshooting, Problem solving and excellent communication skills. Must be capable of gathering requirement and understand the business/functional logic.
• Strong testing/validation ability, Address QA issues, help users with UAT. Familiarity of concepts like Great Expectations will be a bonus.
• Working individually and as a team to achieve our Sprint goals.
