• 10 years Strong SAP QA background having worked on projects with hands-on experience of full testing life cycle from analysis, to test scripting, test execution and defect management.

• Need people preferably with SAP Finance testing experience or financial testing background

• Review Requirements and BPDs (business process definition) and other supporting documentation to understand business process and project's objectives

• Work closely with functional and technical teams in defining test scenarios and writing test cases/test scripts based on various design and build documents such as requirements traceability matrix, BPDs, process flow diagrams, design lean specifications, etc.

• Facilitate workshops with the business to review the test scenarios and test cases updating and publishing for additional comments

• Participate in the different phases of testing including SIT, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, SOx Controls/Accessibility Testing, etc.

• Work closely with the Defect Manager, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, and business users to facilitate test execution, defect triage, and defect resolution throughout the testing lifecycle

• Working knowledge of testing tools such as q Test and/or HPALM would be beneficial and preferred but not mandatory having exposure to TOSCA/other automation tools

• Monitor test execution progress, track defects, and report on testing metrics, KPIs, and risks, providing Test Manager /Defect Manager with regular updates on the status of testing ctivities and mitigation plans

• Hold training/knowledge sharing sessions with other Test Leads/Test Analysts and project stakeholders on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices

• Help ensure Test Entry and Exit criteria process is followed and that none of the test phases exit unless key exit criteria is met and approvals obtained. Assist in organizing the Test Readiness review meetings and facilitating some of them

• Define the scope of the E2E scenarios of assigned pillar based on set priorities and help obtain the necessary approvals

• Execute test sets, implement processes and tools, and utilizing organizational change management practices to drive support

• Participate in and provide input during Agile ceremonies like Sprint planning, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings.

• Estimated work allocation:

• 80% - test analysis, test design and execution, test coverage, defect tracking/resolution, and test coordination

• 10% - test management tool setup, maintenance, training and support

• 10% - status update/planning work in conjunction with Testing /Defect Manager

Mandatory Skills: SAP Test Management .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 77000 to CAD 120000 .
