QA Test Engineer

Role Purpose

Prepare test cases and perform testing of products, platforms, and solutions deployed at client sites to ensure 100% quality assurance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand test requirements and design test cases based on business requirements
• Author test planning documentation with knowledge of testable requirements
• Implement Wipro's model-based testing approach for efficient test generation
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases to minimize rework
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and capture test cases
• Define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-of-scope items; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Automate test lifecycle processes using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation
• Design and execute automation frameworks and reporting dashboards
• Set up test environments, develop test plans, and execute test scenarios
• Raise defects with clear descriptions and replication patterns according to project standards
• Detect and report bug issues with comprehensive defect reports and test progress updates
• Deliver work items within Wipro and customer SLAs with no rejections or slippage
• Design and release test status dashboards after each test execution cycle
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability; trace results to quality risks and report to stakeholders
• Maintain professional communication with customers via email, voice calls, and business interactions
• Deliver on-time results including WSRs, test execution reports, and dashboard updates in the test management repository
• Log accurate effort data in e Cube, TMS, and project trackers
• Respond promptly to customer requests with no internal or external complaints

• Testing efficiency and quality with on-time delivery
• Customer satisfaction scores and query resolution within TAT
