Key Responsibilities
- Factory Data Analysis & Intelligent Solution Implementation:
- Analyze specific production processes (e.g., OEE, quality control, energy consumption) to identify business pain points. Use tools like SQL and Python for data extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
- Design and develop data visualization dashboards (e.g., using Spotfire,Power BI) to translate data insights into actionable information for onsite management.
- Research and apply advanced algorithmic models (e.g., time-series forecasting, anomaly detection) to real production data. Evaluate their business value and support the pilot implementation of "smart data" solutions.
- AI Integration and Adoption:
- Research the latest trends in AI applications within manufacturing (e.g., quality inspection, process optimization, predictive maintenance).
- Under the guidance of a mentor, contribute to specific AI adoption projects, such as:
- Participate in the daily operation of the test data flow, analyze historical and real-time data from operation
- Applying natural language processing to analyze equipment maintenance logs for root cause analysis.
- Utilizing machine learning algorithms for intelligent classification and root cause analysis of test results.
- Assist in evaluating the feasibility, cost, and ROI of different AI solutions and contribute to technical reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Current Master's or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one data analysis language (Python or R) and familiarity with common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn).
- Solid data processing skills and experience with SQL.
- Understanding of fundamental machine learning and AI concepts (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning).
- Core Competencies:
- Intellectual Curiosity: A strong passion for digital transformation in manufacturing and AI technology, with a keenness to learn.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong logical thinking skills to dissect complex problems and develop solutions.
- Teamwork & Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and business professionals from diverse backgrounds and communicate ideas clearly.
- Hands-on & Pragmatic Mindset: Willingness to engage with the factory floor and apply code/models to solve practical industrial problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project or internship experience in manufacturing, IoT, or industrial data analysis.
- Familiarity with bigdata cloud platforms
- Experience with data visualization tools like Spotfire or Power BI.
- Knowledge of time-series data analysis or predictive maintenance concepts.
