Job Description

The Graduate Engineer is expected to support the department’s daily operations, maintenance, and improvement activities while developing technical competency, problem-solving skills, and professional work ethics. This role is designed for fresh graduates with the right mindset, strong learning attitude, and willingness to contribute as a team player.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support daily operation and maintenance activities of engineering / facilities systems under guidance of senior engineers and supervisors.
  • Assist in Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, breakdown analysis, and basic root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Assist in monitoring system performance, collecting data, and preparing basic reports.
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement, safety, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist in coordinating with technicians, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOP), and IMS requirements.
  • Learn and follow engineering standards, statutory requirements, and best practices.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor as part of learning and development.

REQUIRED:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent.

  • Positive, proactive, and responsible attitude toward work and challenges.
  • Hands-on mentality – not afraid to go to site, observe, ask questions, and get involved.
