As a Senior Specialist, Workforce Planning – Pharmacy, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing pharmacist staffing strategies across Sam’s Club, balancing business needs, cost efficiency, and associate experience. This role partners closely with pharmacy leadership and Walmart workforce teams to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient scheduling operations.
This is an Onsite position based in Bentonville, AR**.**

• What You’ll Do
• Strategize and optimize pharmacist schedules to align with business demand while supporting Every Day Low Cost (EDLC)principles- Partner with pharmacists and market directors to communicate and implement workforce changes or additions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Walmart workforce planning teams to ensure alignment and seamless pharmacy staffing operations between Sam’s Club and Walmart
• Identify, recommend, and implement best practices and process improvements that drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability
• Analyze workforce trends and operational needs to proactively address staffing gaps and opportunities
• Support change management initiatives related to workforce planning and scheduling

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or labor optimization, preferably in retail, healthcare, or pharmacy environments
• Ability to balance cost control with service and operational requirements
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with experience partnering across multiple levels of leadership
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Experience driving process improvements in complex, matrixed organizations

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
