The position requires close collaboration with in-market leadership as well as regional and global partners, including VAS, Product, Government Affairs, Client Services, among others.

The Risk Director is responsible for setting security priorities and executing strategies to prevent fraud, strengthen authentication, protect sensitive data, respond to data breaches, and prevent misuse of the payment system. • Lead internal and external risk management programs and client-facing forums
  • Promote adoption of Visa risk products and solutions
  • Balance authorization performance with fraud mitigation objectives

  • Oversee response and coordination for fraud events, cyber incidents, and data breaches
  • Lead responsible innovation initiatives and assess emerging risks and new business models
  • Conduct regional risk assessments for new players and initiatives
  • Provide clear, actionable reporting to executive management and synthesize market feedback to enhance Visa’s risk strategy
  • Design and lead client workshops showcasing Visa’s latest products, market trends, and emerging topics relevant to client priorities.
  • Lead and conduct Risk Executive Councils (RECs), client Summits, and MBRs to engage clients on risk, security, and strategic priorities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
