Job Description

The Governance and Operations Analyst will play a key role in enabling operational excellence and governance rigor across Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS). This role supports product governance and business operations (including but not limited to billing, rules update, performance tracking), ensuring alignment with global standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal controls. The analyst will work closely with global, regional and country stakeholders to streamline governance processes, support rule and pricing updates, and drive executional consistency across markets. The analyst will also support cross-border (XB) and card value proposition (CVP) initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Governance Support

  • Coordinate with global, regional and market teams to manage product governance processes, including Visa Rule Book updates, pricing and interchange changes, and risk-related documentation.
  • Facilitate rules waiver requests, ensuring proper documentation, stakeholder alignment, and timely resolution of queries.
  • Support the publication of updates via Visa Business News (VBN) and maintain governance documentation repositories.

Operational Enablement

  • Provide administrative and coordination support for operations related matters, including billing, business reporting, data analytics, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Risk, Pricing, Interchange) to ensure seamless execution of governance and operational workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and proposing enhancements.

Cross-Border (XB) and Card Value Proposition (CVP) initiatives

  • Assist in the development and execution of a playbook to enhance XB performance across markets.
  • Track and report on XB initiatives, milestones, and outcomes to ensure alignment with regional growth targets.
  • Assist with commercial offers development to support markets and issuers to drive CVP enhancement and usage growth, track and report commercial offers performance.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, governance, compliance, or product support roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Familiarity with Visa’s governance frameworks, rule change processes, or XB product landscape is a plus.
