Job Description

The Network Integrations Team for Accounts in Visa Direct is responsible for the seamless integration of Visa Direct services with various financial institutions and payment network partners. We enable cross-border payments across the world ensuring that Visa Directs capabilities are effectively deployed, maintained, and optimized to facilitate quick, secure and reliable transactions.

This is a Product Owner role focused on Network Expansion. Key responsibilities include supporting and completing key service integration activities, gathering and interpreting business requirements and identifying and building improvements to Visa’s cross border network offering.

  • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Accounts Network by developing deep product and technical knowledge.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-profile and complex new partner integrations and network product enhancements in alignment with the network strategy and roadmap, collaborating with Visa Direct Global teams, Technology, and Operational teams with a focus on Direct to Beneficiary connections.
  • Collect and create business requirements to define epics and features supporting the development and evaluation of new network products.
  • Foster a strong, cohesive team by providing leadership through coaching, setting strategic direction, and leveraging knowledge of Visa products, systems, and procedures.
  • Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional dependencies to ensure prioritization aligns with the vision and objectives, ensuring timely product launches.
  • Develop analytics, reports, and KPIs to define success, build business cases, and optimize the Accounts roadmap prioritization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 3 or more years in a product ownership, or scrum master in an agile team
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish are required Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 5 or more years experience in payment industry
  • FX, cross border payments, SWIFT payments, ACH payments, ISO 20022, global instant payments schemes
  • Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical and business requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have defined process mapping, driven data transformation, migration and reconciliation projects
  • Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs. Solid technical competence in XML, JSON and other message syntax and basic Java knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in cross-border payment processes and find innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple product requirements concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 124,300.00 to 198,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
