What a Client Consulting Manager for Mongolia does at Visa
The Client Consulting Manager for Mongolia is responsible for building the consulting project pipeline and leading the delivery of VCA engagements for clients in the Mongolia market. The role requires close collaboration with clients, rigorous data-driven analysis, synthesis of insights, development of actionable recommendations, and support for execution. The position may be based in Seoul or Ulaanbaatar.

Key Responsibilities are:
- Build and manage the VCA project pipeline in partnership with Visa account executives in Mongolia
- Lead and deliver consulting projects across strategy/AI, digital, portfolio optimization, and risk practices
- Develop thought leadership content tailored to the Mongolia market
Specific responsibilities
- Develop project proposals by defining objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with clients, relationship managers, and functional teams
- Lead project setup, including contracting, stakeholder engagement, interview design, and client data requirements
- Build fact bases through client interviews and analysis of client, Visa, industry, and market data
- Analyze Visa and client data to benchmark performance, identify gaps, and surface improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with data science teams to apply advanced analytics
- Develop actionable recommendations using VCA methodologies, frameworks, and global best practices
- Lead project teams to deliver high quality presentations and, where required, support client implementation

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mongolian, English and/or Korean regional market experience or cultural familiarity with Mongolia is must

7plus years of experience in management consulting, strategy, analytics, financial services, payments, or related advisory roles

Proven experience developing and managing consulting project pipelines in partnership with sales or account teams

Strong project leadership experience, including end‑to‑end delivery from proposal development through execution

Excellent client-facing skills, with a track record of leading senior client discussions, conducting interviews, and managing stakeholders

Strong problem solving, structured thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize insights into clear, compelling presentations
