As part of our Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Analyst track, you'll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out-protecting twenty million investors from ever-evolving threats by staying one step ahead. Do you have the self-starting drive, mental agility, and group-approach to lead teams in the forefront of cybersecurity? This is your opportunity to help craft a forward-thinking and stabilized technology ecosystem-one that's able to grow as the business grows, expand to meet evolving customer needs, and tackle complex and ever-changing security threats. This program will help you build expertise in cybersecurity, identity access management (IAM), fraud investigation, and vulnerability assessment. Throughout the program, you' ll also develop your people skills to prepare for a leadership role that's as challenging as it is fascinating.
The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development program available to graduating college seniors who are ready to enter the business world and eager to develop their technical expertise in Cyber Security while building their leadership skills. The program consists of three, eight-month rotations where you 'll gain hands-on experience in areas such as Cyber Security Operations Center, Identity Access Management (IAM) Provisioning, Fraud Investigations, and Information Assurance or Vulnerability Management
In this program, you will:

Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors

Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success

Build skills in analytical thinking, technical writing, and data-driven decision-making
-
Learn about policy enforcement, threat intelligence, incident response, and security automation.

Gain hands-on experience in security strategy, risk mitigation, and digital ethics while practicing Agile & LEAN methodologies

Share your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, supportive environments

Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers
-
Demonstrate the ability to balance technical and non-technical (program committees, internship support, development of peers) work

Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship
What it takes:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
- Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
- Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment
