As a Security Operations Manager in Global Security & Investigations (GS&I) within the Philippines, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our employees and assets. You will lead the delivery of security and safety operations, ensure compliance with local and global standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be based in Cebu, working closely with local and regional stakeholders to address security risks and support business continuity. Your expertise will help us maintain a safe, secure, and resilient environment for our people and clients.
- Job responsibilities
- Provide crisis management expertise to enable strategic execution and tactical delivery of security operations in the Philippines.
- Deliver consistent and comprehensive security and safety operations, ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance.
- Assess and manage fire fighting and life safety equipment, ensuring emergency items are available at all times.
- Lead Occupational Health & Safety operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global requirements.
- Perform risk assessments of JPMC Philippine sites and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Organize security plans and executive protection for company events and senior leaders.
- Safeguard company properties by managing site alarms, monitoring stations, and security guard deployment.
- Assist in investigations related to fraud, criminal activity, and code of conduct violations.
- Manage administrative requirements including budgeting, billing, headcount review, vendor management, and new hire induction.
- Establish and maintain liaison with local Lines of Business, senior management, and external agencies to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Maintain strong relationships with support functions such as Human Resources, IT, Legal, Audit, Compliance, and Global Real Estate.
- Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in criminology, law, security, risk management, safety management, or extensive relevant experience.
- Significant experience in crisis management and proactive safety, security, and risk mitigation in the Philippines.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical staff.
- Extensive knowledge of safety, security, crisis management theory, and organizational planning.
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, and court procedures applicable in the Philippines.
- Experience in emergency response planning, crisis management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Experience in investigations, including interview techniques, reporting, evidence collection, and legal requirements.
- Knowledge of executive protection, conference, and event security.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Effective reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Comprehensive computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Emergency Response/Operations or Incident Management.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while consistently producing error-free work and meeting deadlines.
- Cebuano speaker from Cebu or the Visayas region.
