As a Senior Analyst on Vanguard’s Global Securities Lending Operations team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting daily operations, resolving complex issues, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency and mitigate risk. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with global stakeholders across IMG and the Fund Ecosystem to contribute to the success of Vanguard’s securities lending program.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Operational Excellence: Own execution of day-to-day deliverables and ensure timely, accurate completion of operational tasks.

  • Problem Solve & Innovate: Identify and resolve complex operational issues, provide regional escalation support, and recommend global solutions.

  • Drive Process Improvements: Enhance workflows for fund initiatives, regulatory changes, and reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with EIG and other Fund Ecosystem teams to deliver actionable insights and value-added solutions.

  • Risk Management: Maintain robust controls, contingency plans, and compliance with operational standards.

  • Project Leadership: Support new product launches, create impact analyses, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

  • Mentor & Develop: Coach less experienced team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.

What It Takes

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in operations, trade support, or financial services.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across global teams.

  • Conceptual understanding of securities lending and investment operations; willingness to deepen investment acumen.
