Job Summary:

As a Trainee Maintenance at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV, you will support the maintenance team in ensuring the optimal functioning of production machinery and equipment. • Job Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

• Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions under supervision.

• Support the repair and replacement of faulty components, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.

• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.

• Document maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time taken.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with 5S principles.

• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.

• Continuously learn and develop technical skills through on-the-job training and company-provided resources.

• Collaborate effectively with production staff and other maintenance team members.

• Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in a related field (e.g., industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechatronics) is a strong plus.

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

• Eagerness to learn and develop practical skills in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and potentially shifts as required.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (even if informal) is a plus but not required.
