About the Role

As a Data Analytics Specialist for the Community Operations Strategy & Planning team, you will help to build our customer support infrastructure across LATAM and the world. You will also help us transform Uber into a more customer-centric company. You will work on our performance management process, building the data intelligence that will allow us to report on weekly/monthly/quarterly results and opportunities for financial and operational metrics. In addition, you will also take part on strategic projects as a data partner to support problem-solving and recommendations

You should have strong analytical skills, good time management, be solution-oriented a creative and problem-solving attitude, and the ability to communicate clearly and present information. SQL/Python/R expertise will be a distinct advantage.

What You'll Do

• Drive analysis to inform important strategic decisions.
• Manage and optimize our data intelligence structure for Financial and Operational metrics tracking.
• Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes.
• Actively support all strategic planning and analytical activity for senior management in the region.
• Support strategic projects as a data partner.

Basic Qualifications

• SQL/Python/R experience.
• Experience in data analytics working for any industry.
• Great understanding of databases, data relationships and data integrity. Analytical rigor is a must!
• Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve complex problems with autonomy.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Good communication skills will allow you to digest and understand business needs.
• Roll up your sleeves and get into the details approach.
• High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly.
• Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude.
• Business curiosity - you love to learn and constantly seek ways to improve your understanding of the business and the tools you use. You share your learnings with your team and encourage others (and yourself) to take on new opportunities for further development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate strategic planning, or related fields.
