About the Role

The Ad Effectiveness team empowers Uber Advertising and our clients with a 360° view of campaign performance and optimization opportunities. We focus on helping teams answer critical questions about measurement, impact, and effectiveness.
In this role, you will join the Ad Measurement Strategy organization, where you'll help bring new measurement products, partnerships, and capabilities to life. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure our solutions meet advertiser needs and drive meaningful outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Translate advertising effectiveness concepts, measurement solutions, and underlying statistical principles into actionable insights for advertisers across industries
  • Design and conduct analyses to evaluate campaign performance and deliver clear optimization recommendations
  • Develop and present compelling, data-driven stories to senior leaders at both client organizations and Uber
  • Identify unmet advertiser needs and help surface opportunities for new measurement products or strategic initiatives
  • Partner closely with the Ad Measurement Strategy Lead and collaborate across teams to drive shared goals

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ads measurement at an advertising platform or publisher, media agency, advertiser, or research organization
  • English proficiency required
  • Experience working with third-party measurement partners such as Kantar, Circana, Happydemics, or similar providers
  • Experience with 2 or 3 of the next tactics: Brand Lift, Sales Lift, Tune-in Lift, Foot Traffic, Reach & Frequency, Mobile Measurement, 3P Verification OR Media Mixed Modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, multivariate testing, and brand or conversion lift methodologies
  • Solid understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem
  • Experience supporting measurement for one or more industries such as technology, retail, entertainment, restaurants, travel, CPG, telecommunications, or financial services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • Experience building and influencing client or partner relationships
  • Experience mentoring teammates or contributing to team development
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, R, SPSS/STATA, or Tableau
