About the Role

The EMEA Grocery & Retail business is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a talented Marketplace Operations Manager to join our Central Operations team. Our team is dedicated to driving growth and operational excellence across EMEA with a focus on 11 emerging RoEMEA markets.
As a Marketplace Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in owning delivery operations and marketplace health workstreams - building the operational foundations of EMEA's growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Strategy, and Local Ops to execute and ensure our marketplace is reliable, efficient, and built to scale. This is a strategic, data-driven role at the heart of EMEA's fastest-growing Retail markets, ideal for candidates who thrive on using data to solve complex operations problems at scale.

What you'll do

  • *Marketplace Efficiency Management: Drive critical marketplace efficiency through monitoring, strategic rule designs and interventions - leading and executing initiatives to improve efficiency and cost through data-driven problem solving.
  • *Supporting Demand and Growth: Solve high-impact critical business problems by solving supply gaps whilst also maximising demand through consumer optimisation levers.
  • *Champion the Retail business in EMEA: Be the executor of operational excellence for the region and become the strategic, data-driven voice for EMEA Retail. This will involve executing and influencing across strategy, operational and tech teams to capture local nuance - with the goal of influencing the roadmaps of XFN teams to ensure EMEA Retail is well supported.

What You'll Need

  • *3+ years of professional work experience in a related field (business operations, tech, analytics, consulting, banking, etc.).
  • *Scaling Operational Processes: Experience designing and scaling operational processes (performance, regulatory and/or compliance processes are a plus).
  • *SQL Proficiency and Analytical Mindset: Comfortable extracting and working with complex datasets to derive insights, validate observations, and synthesize recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • *Project Management: Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, plan and prioritize workstreams across multiple projects and execute with a high attention to detail.
  • *Problem Solving: Ability to break down ambiguous problems by using structured thinking, quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data-driven insights to solve them.
  • *Demonstrated Excellence in Stakeholder Management: Background in cross-functional program execution or central operations leadership is a plus as you will be working with a diverse range of stakeholders from multiple different functions.
