About the Team
At Uber, we reimagine the way the world moves for the better. There are a lot of operations and technologies that enable this mission and Uber's GSS (Global Scaled Solutions) org leads several of those capabilities such as localization/internationalization, data annotation for AI/ML innovation, testing, map editing, digitization programs and more. We have built industry leading tech and ops muscle for the same and are now externalizing these offerings.
Our goal is to establish a dedicated and highly specialized sales team, facilitating the expansion of our services to cater to both large and medium-sized enterprises. This endeavor is aimed at the company priority "Seed the Future" with incubation of a new business line within Uber.
About the Role
This role will be heavily focused on partnerships that drive growth through partners for Uber Scaled Solutions. In this role you'll be responsible for accelerating revenue by strategic partners. You will define the partner ecosystem for Scaled Solutions and develop the value proposition for how Uber can add value to the partner and the prospective customer. This role will require a combination of strategy development with more tactical project-based activities while managing partners' senior executives.
This is a highly cross-functional role, as you will collaborate with internal teams across operation, marketing, product, legal, comms, sales, and engineering locally, regionally and globally. This is an individual contributor role as a member of a high performing team reporting to the Head of Growth, Scaled Solution. You will own your partnerships end to end including partner's C-level stakeholders management.
Based on a deep understanding of the GSS capabilities you will drive revenue by demonstrating the value of GSS Services and solutions to partners and customers. You will utilize your strong network and relationships to help accelerate key partnerships and unlock opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities across various sectors, with a focus on high-impact collaborations that drive business growth.
- Lead end-to-end partnership processes, from initial outreach and business case development to contract negotiations and implementation.
- Meet your revenue targets via partners - you should always be looking for opportunities for GSS to make an impact and always be closing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams- Product, Finance, Compliance, Policy, Marketing, Operations, Legal & Engineering, Sales-to ensure partnership strategies align with overall business goals and drive value.
- Develop and present strategic deal analytics, competitive research, and market insights to guide business decision-making and shape partnership strategies.
- Own and cultivate partnerships that you will manage independently, ensuring long-term success through proactive relationship management and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all channels (written, verbal, presentations, and negotiations) to effectively influence stakeholders and secure alignment at all levels of the organization.
- Be results-driven and comfortable navigating ambiguity, proactively bringing clarity and structure to complex or undefined situations to drive tangible outcomes.
- Confidently engage with senior internal and external executives, building strong relationships and representing Uber's strategic interests with key decision-makers.
- Be technically savvy, with a the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless integration of partnerships.
- Enjoy problem-solving and finding joy in puzzles, bringing creativity and an inquisitive mindset to unravel complex challenges, while working with large, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to refining Uber GSS' offering to the industry based on the evolving needs and industry trends observed. Work closely with the internal product team to communicate customer feedback/requirements, and provide market insights to help shape the product roadmap.
- Represent GSS at regional conferences and events.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of B2B partnership experience in a technology environment
- 1+ years of partnership experience in data labeling/annotation, language services, and/or quality/testing
- Experience working with enterprise platform partners and understanding of partner-centric go-to-market approach
- Proven track record of building and executing commercial deals and complex partnerships
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of B2B partnership experience (minimum 4 years in a full partnership cycle role) in a technology environment (SaaS, Tech Services, Tech Solutions, etc.)
- Experience selling tech offerings similar to data labeling/annotation, language services, and quality/testing
- Experience working in a start-up or entrepreneurial work environment
- Highly adept at Salesforce and Excel/Google Sheets - reporting, data analysis, and process improvement
- Revenue/forecasting experience
- Proven track record of building and managing a multi-million dollar business via partnerships
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Has demonstrated success through significant market adversity, during ongoing product development
- A genuine give-and-take approach to problem solving, acting as a true peer and partner to the business and all other relevant stakeholders across the organization
- Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization. You can work effectively with anyone from a CEO to an in-the-field ops manager. You can lead priorities and succeed in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong product instincts and ability to identify opportunities for Uber to leverage partners' existing and in-development products, as well as the ability to collaborate with Uber's Product, Operations, and Engineering organization to build world-class features for our users.
- Capable use of insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Analytical mindset and track record of using data to inform strategy.
- Ability to challenge and influence various partners across organizations.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
