Do you have experience running digital marketing for an events business or portfolio - and love building the systems and campaigns that drive registrations, sponsor demand, and standout attendee experiences?
In this rare opportunity, you'll own and evolve the digital marketing engine behind a portfolio of events across Australia and New Zealand. You'll manage omnichannel campaigns end-to-end and help shape a best in class digital footprint - from websites and email journeys to paid media and marketing technology - while working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Marketing Specialist
, you will:-Plan & deliver digital campaigns: Build, activate and measure omnichannel campaigns (web, email, paid, social, video and event apps) to drive awareness, registrations and sponsor interest.

Own event digital experiences: Improve landing pages and registration journeys and support digital touchpoints across the event lifecycle (speaker comms, payments, streaming and post-event follow-up).

Create and coordinate digital assets: Brief, build and QA key assets (emails, landing pages, forms, tracking, creative) in line with brand standards.

Performance & optimization: Monitor KPIs, report results, uncover insights, and continuously improve conversion, engagement and ROI.

Paid media & search: Set up and optimize paid campaigns and SEM/content strategies based on agreed KPIs and budgets.

Martech & vendor management: Recommend, qualify and manage marketing/event tech and vendor relationships, ensuring integration and alignment with internal systems (including Thomson Reuters where relevant).

Process improvement: Strengthen prioritization, measurement and deployment processes to lift capability and consistency across the portfolio.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Marketing Specialist:
if you have the following required qualifications: -4 years' experience** in digital marketing with proven results, ideally in **events (conferences, awards, webinars, hybrid programs, etc.).

Demonstrated experience building or improving a digital marketing function - including technology selection, implementation support, and vendor management.

Strong hands-on capability with event marketing technology, such as tools for event websites/brand pages, registration and payments, speaker management/communications, streaming, and automated follow-up.

Confidence working across events, marketing and wider business stakeholders to deliver seamless go-to-market plans.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort juggling multiple campaigns and deadlines.
