Prime Support Consultant Profile:

Join our team as an Prime Support Consultant and support key initiatives that drive business success. This role is essential for gaining hands-on on the customer side and developing professional relationships.
- About the Role
- Provide senior-level application support for enterprise customers, using PL/SQL and/or T‑SQL to investigate incidents, run queries, debug data issues, and validate system behavior.
- Develop and maintain SQL/T‑SQL scripts to support troubleshooting, reporting, data corrections, and repeatable operational tasks in customer environments.
- Analyze reported problems end-to-end, document findings clearly, and produce functional descriptions/specifications that enable accurate fixes and prevent recurrence.
- Deliver customer-ready fixes and workarounds, including step-by-step application instructions and clear communication in advanced spoken and written English.
- Assist customers through patch releases and deployments, including preparation, coordination, validation, and post-release verification to ensure stability.
- Gather, analyze, and help define project requirements and specifications, collaborating with internal teams while working independently and proactively to drive resolution.
- Support integrations with ERP ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, People Soft), with preferred exposure to foreign trade/international trade processes (including Mexico IMMEX) and willingness to build new software development skills.
About You
You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:
- Advanced English proficiency (candidates will be tested before setting up an interview)
- A BA degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems or a closely related discipline.
- 2+ years of hands-on application support experience using PL/SQL and/or T‑SQL, including writing queries, debugging database issues, and developing SQL/T‑SQL scripts.
- Experience in implementing and/or supporting foreign trade (international trade) systems (preferred).
- A strong customer-support mindset with a consistently positive, service-oriented attitude and commitment to clear outcomes.
- Proven ability to understand complex issues, summarize root causes, and communicate/transfer knowledge effectively in both writing and conversation (advanced English).
- A proactive, solutions-first approach and comfort working independently/autonomously to drive incidents through to resolution.
- Experience producing functional descriptions/specifications of issues and delivering customer-ready fixes/workarounds with clear application instructions.
- Familiarity with enterprise environments and integrations with ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, People Soft), with preferred exposure to foreign trade/international trade (including Mexico IMMEX) and PMI methodology, plus willingness to develop new software development skills.
