Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

OT Network Support & Administration

  • Design, implement, and maintain OT network infrastructure supporting manufacturing and laboratory environments
  • Handle network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) specific to OT environments
  • Monitor network performance, solve connectivity issues, and optimize for uptime and reliability

OT Security Implementation

  • Collaborate with corporate IT security teams to apply basic OT security principles (network segmentation, access controls, monitoring) to safeguard manufacturing systems
  • Support vulnerability assessments and participate in incident response for OT network incidents

Collaboration & Integration

  • Act as the bridge between OT and corporate IT network teams, ensuring flawless integration and support
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving network upgrades, migrations, and new system deployments
  • Provide technical mentorship on network requirements for new manufacturing and laboratory systems

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and compliance evidence
  • Support audits and ensure that all OT network activities adhere to GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and corporate IT standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in network administration, with a focus on OT or industrial environments
  • Solid understanding of OT network architectures (ISA-95/ISA-99, Purdue Model) and protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC, etc.)
  • Experience with network devices (Fortigate, Cisco, Arista, etc.) and security appliances
  • Understanding of GxP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing
