Job Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the maintenance, support and deployment of the Enterprise One global infrastructure and its operations. This position will provide JDE Enterprise One configuration, security administration, object management, and coordinate with Applications, Development and other Infrastructure team members. Having exposer to Dev-ops, Scripting and Agentic AI solutions will be highly preferred.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Sr. E1 CNC & Security Administration: 75%
  • Monitor and manage Enterprise One performance and architecture and maintain the JD Edwards systems reliability, integrity and recoverability.
  • Establish and maintain processes and procedures for implementing and maintaining the J.D. Edwards Enterprise One technical environment.
  • Having hands on experience for latest JDE 9.2 features
  • Good understanding on E1 UDO and Orchestrator objects and AIS services
  • Install and Maintain JDE Environments on AWS Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge on AWS Load Balancing and Clustering solutions
  • Upgrade of Enterprise One and related components on Deployment server and Enterprise Servers.
  • Installing and managing Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Application Server and E1 JAS, Orchestrator, AIS, OVR, JDE fatclients and other third-party products
  • OMW configuration and project promotions, Package build and deployments
  • Install and manage Business Services Server and related package deployments
  • Install and manage Real Time Event Server (E1 Transaction Server)
  • Apply ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Tools Release updates.
  • Administration of print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW and Server Manager.
  • Create and manage environments, pathcodes and instances.
  • Create and manage multi-foundation for testing of new releases
  • Familiar with different monitoring tools and monitor alerts actively
  • Monitors Enterprise One Jobs scheduled using third-party job scheduler (ControlM)
  • Provides troubleshooting of Enterprise One application and hardware
  • Understanding of high availability software’s and solutions
  • Provide complete and timely support for end users
  • Keep current and up to date with application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components
  • Interact extensively with the other support groups to establish and support Enterprise One applications running on the corporate network.
  • Initial setup, maintenance and coordination of users, user profiles and Enterprise One environment security.
  • Develops and manages the access strategy by proactively working with management, process/data owners, auditors and other personnel.
  • Provide reporting for audit and participate in yearly audit process
  • Provides global Level 2/3 support for standard hardware, software (involves on call coverage 24x7 on a rotating basis)
  1. Dev-ops/Automation/AI Engineering: 20%
  • Building new solutions to gain Operational efficiency or Cost savings using Automation or AI
  • Introduce new tools and explore new features to add in E1 landscape
  • Having hands on building Orchestrator objects and API integrations with other systems
  • Good understanding and logical thinking on scripting languages
  • Creating agentic AI solutions using low/no code platforms using workflows
  1. General responsibilities: 5%
  • Develops and manages project plans for primary activities.
  • Develops, maintains and tests Enterprise One Disaster Recovery procedures in coordination with Infrastructure and applications team.
  • Researches, evaluates and recommends third party utilities to better the environment
  • Perform RCA for Major P1 Incidents and apply fixes

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), Windows Server
  • Oracle Web Logic, Oracle 12C-19C, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Developer
  • AI Tools – ChatGPT, n8n, Flowise, Copilot
  • Control-M, Bartender, Create Form, Smarter Commerce, Solar Winds DPA , Vertex, Datadog
  • MS Office products, HP Products like HPQC, Open View, Site Scope, PPM, Grafana, Big Panda, Oneup Time, Service Now, Jira, Confluence, Rundeck, Power BI, Power Automate, UI Path
  • Enterprise One Software Release 9.1 to 9.2  and  Toolset 9.2.X
  • Various third party and in-house developed utilities to support performance and capacity planning activities
  • Conceptual knowledge of Agile, Siebel, EDW, WMS, All Out
  • AWS Essentials and good understanding on different services offered

PERSONAL PROFILE: Education:

Graduate & Post Graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (B-tech, BS, BE, MCA, M-Tech, MS, ME or Equivalent)

Experience:

5 Years of Experience in JDE- E1 CNC
