Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly dedicated Senior Operations Finance Coordinator to join the Bioanalytical and Vaccine Operations Finance team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is an outstanding opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment dedicated to advancing scientific research and contributing to a healthier, more environmentally sound, and safer world!

Responsibilities:

• Financial reconciliations for all Bioanalytical and Vaccine studies

• Investigate deferred or unbilled balances

• Communicate effectively with sponsors and internal colleagues regarding reconciliations, invoices, revenue recognition and data issues in a timely manner

• Collaborate across departments to address sponsor concerns promptly and support team activities when required

• Compiles, analyzes and reports financial data across different segments of the business and ensures data integrity in all reporting activities

• Prepares and sends external accrual and client specific reports on a monthly and quarterly basis

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an accounting role

• Outstanding attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience with Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, as well as PowerBI Dashboards is a plus
