As a Software Engineer Intern – Test Automation, you will support the development of state-of-the-art software applications used for analysis of samples with electron microscopes. Your work will help automate testing processes and accelerate discoveries in areas such as new materials, batteries, semiconductors, and drug development.

• Test new software features and verify bug fixes

• Convert manual test cases into automated tests

• Create, maintain, and execute test automation scripts

• Support and improve test automation frameworks

• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and SQA colleagues

• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovative solutions

• Keys to Success

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, or similar field

• Spoken English and Czech/Slovak is mandatory

• Interest in software testing and test automation

• Basic knowledge of Python or willingness to learn

• Ability to identify, reproduce, and describe software defects

• Interest in learning CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices

• Motivated and eager to learn in a real-world R&D environment

• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving

• Good communication skills
