About Finland

Our Finland locations include Vantaa and Joensuu, employing over 800 professionals in R&D, production, supply chain, quality, marketing, sales, and administrative support. We hire experts in different fields including engineering, chemistry, microbiology, and bioinformatics. Our Vantaa site develops laboratory automation solutions, clinical chemistry and industrial chemistry analyzers and assays, food safety kits, pipettes and other diagnostics and research solutions. How will you make an impact?

Thermo Fisher Scientific Oy Vantaa Purchasing team is responsible for on time raw material availability for analyzer, automation and reagents production and R&D. You will be working with external and internal collaborators as part of the Purchasing team to ensure raw material availability, compliance and quality.

What will you do?

  • Manage raw material intake by sharing demand forecasts, releasing purchase orders, monitoring overdue POs, demand fluctuation, and inventory levels
  • Daily supplier performance management
  • Invoice and supplier reclamation handling

How will you get here?

  • Position is an excellent fit for a person studying M.Sc. in relevant field ie. Sourcing, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering and Management
  • You have solid English and Finnish language skills (verbal and in writing) and MS Office skills
  • Work experience in supply chain management or procurement and knowledge of ERP systems are benefit
  • You are curious about learning new things and you follow through on your assignments
