Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a Paid Media Lead opportunity for candidates interested in growing their careers with a committed marketing team. This role is part of the APJ Digital Marketing Operations COE. You will steer strategies and manage brand execution, reporting directly to the Performance Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for driving programmatic and online media planning, execution, analysis, and insights. It involves collaborating with large teams across the APJ region and aligning with our global divisional digital team and country collaborators. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, and carry out extensive paid media campaigns on programmatic advertising networks such as Sizmek or Rubicon. Include third-party sources like Research Gate or Bio Pharma APAC and social media channels such as LinkedIn and Facebook. The purpose is to drive focused traffic, boost return on investment, and accomplish business goals for various product lines and business units.
- Partner with specialists in APJ Digital Marketing Operations COE to identify audience segments, reference points, and indicators. Evaluate the performance of paid media programs and coordinate with divisions and regions to improve digital marketing campaign achievements.
- Build and drive detailed media plans, including targeting strategies, budget breakdowns, and timelines for campaign implementation that form part of the digital marketing campaigns.
- Work together with divisions and controlling teams to distribute the paid media budget across various campaigns and channels. This should be done according to performance and encouraged return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Prepare regular performance reports and analysis, providing key insights to collaborators and communicating actionable recommendations for campaign improvements.
- Gather and collect feedback to ensure strong creative material, in collaboration with Marketing Analyst.
- Keep informed on industry developments, common methods, and refine paid media strategies and tactics.
- Influence and support Geographies to experiment and embrace different media platforms.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing expertise and standard practices to cultivate their professional development and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of paid media channels, content strategy, and audience engagement.
- 8 years of hands-on experience in paid media advertising, with a focus on social media marketing (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads), and third-party advertising management.
- Proven analytical expertise in understanding sophisticated data sets and deriving actionable insights to boost campaign outcomes.
- Strong communication and cooperative abilities, with the capacity to function well across diverse teams and partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, handle several projects simultaneously, and meet set execution timelines.
- Previous experience in the scientific field and knowledge of target customer groups are a plus.
- Ability to engage with East Asian markets, and possibly read and write Korean or Japanese, is an advantage.
