Sr Engineers, Software located in Frisco, Texas will design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments.
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Actively participate in architecture and design of various software components focused on creating applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies.

Drive engineering projects by developing software solutions, conducting tests and inspections, and preparing reports and calculations.
-
Independently develop a full software stack, understanding the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work.
-
Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.
-
Contribute to designs to implement new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service, while reviewing existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives.

Write basic documentation on how technology works, creating clear documentation for new code and systems used; and
-
Document systems design, presentations, and business requirements for consumption and consideration at the manager level.
Skill requirements:
-
Experience using Workday Studio, Extend, Orchestrations, BIRT, Integration methodologies, GraphQL and Web Services (REST/SOAP) to design and implement enterprise-grade integrations and custom apps for HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Compensation and Talent with secure data exchange, transformation logic, and orchestration workflows.

Experience using Python, Java, and JavaScript to build backend services, integration middleware, and app logic with support for asynchronous processing, API communication, and automated testing.
-
Experience using AI/ML tools including OpenAI GPT to develop intelligent features for HR use cases including attrition prediction, generative onboarding content, and AI-driven assistant tools using prompt engineering and LLM integration.
-
Experience using AWS services including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch to create serverless architectures for processing Workday integration payloads, hosting Extend app dependencies and building cloud-native monitoring and automation solutions.

Experience using Workday Adaptive Planning and Prism Analytics to enable data-driven workforce planning, scenario modeling, and real-time analytics using Prism transformations, WQL, and embedded dashboards for Finance and HR stakeholders.

Experience using DevOps tools (Git and Jenkins), cURL, Postman, Microsoft Power Apps, and Terraform to automate code deployments, test integration endpoints, connect Workday with external systems, and manage infrastructure to build low-code workflows.
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related, and three years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related, and five years of relevant work experience.
Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

Candidate’s pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
