Who We Are Looking For:
This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a BestX AI Engineer intern within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We’re driving the company’s digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies. What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:

Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics and technology teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance client decision-making across pre-trade and post-trade workflows.

Leverage AI and machine learning to develop and refine decision augmentation tools that identify optimal counterparty and algorithm strategies based on historic trades and real-time market data.
-
Drive product innovation by integrating advanced analytics into the BestX platform, contributing to its continued recognition as a leading transaction cost analysis (TCA) solution.

Support client outcomes by translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations tailored to banks, hedge funds, and custody clients.

Support AI-focused enhancements to expand the platform’s capabilities

Work within a diverse tech environment using Julia/Python for analytics, PostgreSQL and KDB for data management, and Node.js for backend services.

Design and develop secure applications that support identity and access management workflows, including authentication, authorization, and user provisioning, aligned with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards and deploying to Cloud environments.

Build and manage databases using a combination of database technologies

Create responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React

Write unit and integration tests

Participate in design and code reviews

Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
