About this role
Role Summary We are looking for a Vice President to join the Python Engineering team within Quantitative Analytics Engineering group. The role involves building production‑grade analytics, data pipelines, and models on the Python Production Platform (PPP), with a focus on Pre‑IPO analytics, Index creation, and Alternatives modeling.
The VP will work directly with local lead and collaborate across global engineering, research, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based analytical models for Pre‑IPO, Indexing, and Alternatives.

Build scalable, reliable pipelines using PPP, Prefect, containers, and internal tooling.

Implement rules-based index methodologies, rebalancing logic, and simulation engines.

Contribute to Real Estate / Private Equity / Alts frameworks (NAV, liquidity, flows, attribution).

Design robust data ingestion & validation workflows across internal and external datasets.

Own end‑to‑end delivery: requirements, development, testing, documentation, deployment.

Drive engineering best practices and mentor junior developers.
Required Experience & Skills
-
6–8 years of hands-on experience in Python engineering or quantitative analytics.

Strong command of Python, data manipulation libraries, and production code patterns.

Experience with workflow orchestrators (Prefect, Airflow) or distributed compute.

Understanding of financial analytics: Indexing, private markets, or alternatives preferred.

Strong debugging, testing, and documentation habits.
-
Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
-
Knowledge of investment analytics, time-series analysis, or quant research.

Familiarity with containers, GitHub, CI/CD, or cloud frameworks.

CFA/FRM progress or interest in financial domain.
