The State Street Custody Digital & Fund Services is looking for a candidate to support product development activity for digital services. The candidate will lead product development and drive the strategic direction of digital assets for State Street. The candidate will support evolving ideas into pilots and eventually develop products for clients. The candidate will work across functions and collaborate with different teams across the firm to deliver distributed ledger products being brought to market.

Conduct market research and develop business cases for digital asset and DLT initiatives.

- 10+ years’ experience in financial services (front office, capital markets, trading, operations) with a strong track record in project management and cross-functional product delivery.
- Deep understanding of crypto, digital assets, DLT, asset servicing, and market/regulatory trends.
- Analytical, innovative, and results-driven, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning in the digital asset space.

- Delivered custody for tokenized funds and digital native assets on public/permissioned chains, combining MPC/HSM key controls with atomic DvP and CSD connectivity.
- Bridged legacy custody/cash with tokenized assets, orchestrating ISO 20022/SWIFT events and reconciliation for hybrid flows.
- Delivered interoperable digital cash solutions and regulatory compliant settlement for deposit tokens, stablecoins, and CBDCs.
- Integrated third party platforms via secure APIs for straight through order to settlement and automated processing.
- Implemented enhanced KYC/KYB and transaction monitoring for digital assets, enforcing global compliance via smart contracts.
- Enabled tokenized securities/MMF units and deposit tokens as collateral with onchain pledge/release and margin workflows (FX OTC, repo, agency lending).
- Delivered secure APIs and fund admin for digital ETFs/ETPs, ensuring audit ready controls for multi jurisdiction launches.
- Structured tokenized MMFs and digital share classes, automating eKYC/KYB onboarding and subscriptions/redemptions (fiat, deposit tokens, stablecoins).
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of enterprise financial technology solutions, governance processes, and large-scale business implementation.
- Proven experience developing and launching innovative digital products (blockchain, smart contracts, tokenization, wallets, cryptocurrencies) within complex organizations.
- Skilled in Agile/Scrum environments and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Consulting experience is a plus.
