This Position reports to:
Product Marketing Director (부장)
Your Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will implement product marketing strategies aligned with ABB’s global product strategy for Medium Voltage Indoor Products, including VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker), CT/PT (Current and Voltage Transformers), Vacuum Interrupters, UFES (Ultra-Fast Earthing Switch), and Is-Limiter. Your focus will be on supporting the Sales organization in Korea, ensuring strong market presence and driving sales growth and service excellence.
You will collaborate closely with factories and global teams to adapt and launch products tailored to the Korean market. Occasional overseas travels for factory coordination and global alignment will be required.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role contributes to the Electrification Business Area – Distribution Solutions Division in Korea, working directly with local customers, internal ABB Sales & Operations, and Global Marketing teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Implement product marketing strategies for Korea, defining and communicating value propositions and product positioning in line with global strategy.

Support Sales teams with technical expertise, product training, and marketing materials to drive order intake.

Collaborate with factories and global teams to develop and launch products optimized for the Korean market.

Execute annual marketing plans and monitor progress against targets, implementing improvement actions as needed.

Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers to ensure product knowledge and confidence.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 years of experiences in product marketing, technical sales, or product management within Medium Voltage switchgear or grid components.

Strong knowledge of VCB, CT/PT, Vacuum Interrupters, UFES, Is-Limiter, and related technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Skilled in marketing tools, CRM systems, and proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.

Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.

Strong customer focus and ability to translate technical features into business value.

Ability to work collaboratively with factories and global teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel occasionally for coordination and training.
