Responsibilities

Our Digital Experience Mobile team is seeking iOS Mobile Engineers to support State Farm’s mobile app, which delivers insurance, billing, claims, and telematics capabilities to our customers & the My Mobile Office app used by our network of over 19,000 agents. We leverage Agile principles and cutting-edge technology to bring customer facing changes to production every three weeks.

As a member of our team, you’ll bring hands-on experience with agile development, along with strong communication and collaboration skills, to share ideas effectively and help advance our mobile application capabilities.

Qualifications

Competitive candidates must have:

  • 2-5 years proficiency in SwiftUI and UIKit, with experience integrating both in a single codebase
  • Experience with iOS networking frameworks and RESTful API integration (experience with GraphQL is a plus)
  • Experience with modular architecture and framework development
  • Proficiency in Swift fundamentals (concurrency, error handling, protocols)
  • Knowledge of protocol-oriented programming and dependency injection
  • Strong code documentation practices
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools

Other Skills:

  • Can balance working both independently and collaboratively
  • Build relationships across different teams and roles to achieve our goals (engineers, design, test, and product owners)​

Our Benefits

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!

  • Potential starting salary range: $97,000 - $123,000 (Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience)
