We’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager based in Beijing to join our China advertising solutions team in supporting the growth of the business.
The mission of the Sales Strategy & Operations team is to maximize ads business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the in-market leadership and GTM teams. This role will be aligned to drive advertiser revenue growth across some of Snap’s biggest advertisers via high leverage & scaled support models rooted in operational rigor & consistent sales motions.
What you’ll do:
- Run the business
- Manage and own daily operations across
Own weekly revenue forecasting including modeling & partnering with the country Managing Director and Sales leaders on reporting their weekly numbers - across the different advertiser GTM motions (Large customers, Emerging and Small business, Reseller markets)

Be the accountability partner to the Sales leader - building OKRs to track progress towards long term goals, stress testing revenue commentary with objective metrics

Optimize books of business on a quarterly basis and support quarterly goal setting including sales team and sales rep quotas

Systematize best practices in the sales process and continuously improve critical workflows eg adopting a gold standard in Account plan building and roll out, driving efficiency through use of tools etc

Grow the business - constantly analyse ways to grow the business
Be a strategic partner to the country Managing Director and Sales leaders, provide revenue reporting & insights, and proactively seek to improve the LCS business in a data-driven way

Deploy data-driven strategies related to global resourcing, sales effectiveness, and go-to-market programs

Identify areas of market opportunity and gaps to prioritize customer segments accordingly

Cross functional Liaison and project management: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Data Science, Product, and Finance to identify areas of market opportunity, craft plans to capture those opportunities, and reinforce the operational backbone of the team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills suited for audiences ranging from sales teams to Snap’s business leadership

Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

Experience in working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving strategic and operational initiatives in a cross-functional environment
-
Ability to evolve in a highly-dynamic environment - prioritizing initiatives, defining milestones or KPIs and driving results with ownership and adaptability
-
Experience in using SQL
-
Proficiency of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as Looker, Looker Data Studio, Big Query; Proficiency with Salesforce, CRM Analytics - build basic dashboards but know how to navigate and pull the data needed

Strong proficiency in excel with demonstrated experience in building excel models to solve business problems end-to-end

Experience partnering with a Sales Organization and Sales Leadership
Minimum qualifications:
-
7+ years experience which involved analytical rigor and program management/operational skills typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like Management Consulting, Sales/Business Operations, GTM execution and similar functions

Experience and/or interest for the Media and Advertising industry is a strong preference

Frequency in both Mandarin and English as working languages
