As part of our Federal Healthcare Solution Consulting team, you’ll help federal agencies transform how they serve citizens, employees, and mission partners. By combining deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation, you’ll guide our customers on how Service Now’s AI-powered platform can streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance mission outcomes across the Veterans Administration (VA).
You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Consulting, Specialist Teams, Product Management, Customer Excellence Teams, and Executive Leadership to shape strategy, drive revenue growth, and help our customers modernize the way they work — one workflow at a time.
This is a hands-on technical pre-sales role, ideal for a creative problem solver who can translate complex needs into compelling, outcome-driven solutions that demonstrate the power of the Now Platform.
What You’ll Get to Do
The Advisory Solution Consultant – Federal Healthcare serves as a trusted advisor to our customers, leveraging deep solution expertise and mission understanding to help agencies modernize service delivery and accelerate digital transformation.
· Serve as a technical and domain expert on Service Now solutions across our entire suite of solutions supporting a federal healthcare–focused territory – the VA
· Lead discovery workshops to understand agency goals, uncover mission and operational challenges, and align Service Now capabilities to measurable outcomes
· Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations and value stories that showcase Service Now’s differentiated impact across AI, automation, and workflow optimization
· Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Partners to develop solution strategies and drive successful pursuits
· Translate customer needs into actionable insights and provide feedback to Product Management to influence future product enhancements
· Contribute to team growth by sharing best practices, reusable assets, and lessons learned across the Solution Consulting community
· Stay informed on federal modernization initiatives, competitive trends, and emerging technologies in AI, analytics, and workflow automation
· Represent Service Now at industry events, user groups, and executive briefings, helping position the platform as the strategic foundation for government modernization
- Identify, lead and contribute to the creation of best practices, white papers, workshops, etc
· 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience, ideally within the Federal or Public Sector (working with the VA is a plus)
· Strong understanding of the Service Now Platform or equivalent experience with cloud-based workflow solutions
· Experience working collaboratively across Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Service, Product, Marketing, Partners, and Professional Services to deliver unified customer outcomes
· Expertise in territory management, pipeline strategy, and opportunity execution
· Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage both executive and technical audiences
· Knowledge of federal mission areas such as HR modernization, shared services, workforce optimization, IT service delivery, or healthcare operations
· Passion for innovation, AI, and transforming how the federal government serves citizens and employees
· Ability and willingness to travel as required

TR21
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $149,175 - $246,150, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.

We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust. Work personas (flexible, remote, or required in office) are categories that are assigned to Service Now employees depending on the nature of their work and their assigned work location.
