• We are currently seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Services Lob

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test documents for Windows-based applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tool, e.g., JIRA, Azure.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Participate in specification reviews and provide constructive feedback on design and implementation.
• Perform compatibility testing across various Windows platforms and configurations.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Assist in the development of testing standards and best practices.
• Automation (Nice to have)

Qualifications

• External
• Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation / Computer Science engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing, specifically for Windows-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Proficient in creating and executing test cases and test documents.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Nice to have).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
