Job Description

Verification Tester Context:

  • We are looking at an experienced technical leader with advanced communication and leadership skills to drive technical offer development and releases in an agile environment (including internal partner projects, external collaborations, or partnerships).

Key responsibilities

  • Definition of the verification test strategy for offers
  • Specification, implementation, and maintenance of test benches
  • Writing test plans and associated scenarios
  • Execution of test plans
  • Writing test reports
  • Reporting detected anomalies with detailed observations
  • Supporting design teams in characterizing and analyzing anomalies

Must‑have qualifications

  • Experience level in digital product verification & validation: 5+ years
  • Definition of product/system verification and validation strategy
  • Definition of validation test plans based on product/system specifications
  • Definition of verification test plans based on design specifications
  • Creation and fine-tuning of test benches and tools
  • Automation of test sequences using Robot Framework
  • Python programming for test scenarios
  • Knowledge in C, C++ or Python (mainly) programming languages, Angular, Node Js
  • Expertise in Linux distribution for embedded and associated tools and build system including Yocto.
  • Full-stack development
  • Mastery in containerization and associated tools such as Docker.
  • Configuration management with GitHub
  • Requirement management with JAMA
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrated cross-cultural flexibility
  • Good Knowledge about Agile Methodologies (JIRA)
  • Additional knowledges in cybersecurity (secure boot, secure update, authentication & authorization controls...), in TCP/IP and wireless communications and protocols (IEC61850, HTTP, Modbus, Zig Bee...); including associated tools.
  • Advocate of Agile, System Engineering and Dev Sec Ops approaches/methods with practical experience using associated tools (JIRA, Jama, GitHub Actions...).
  • Strong knowledge on standard software development processes & tools (specification, architecture, design, implementation, verification, and documentation)
  • Good knowledge of Digital Technologies (IP-based technologies and protocols, software defined, cybersecurity...)
  • Programming with C++ for backends
  • Task orchestrator: threads management and synchronization, parallel execution, access to databases
  • Cybersecurity (secure boot, secure update, secure communication, logs, authentication & authorization controls...)
  • VSCode
  • Valgrind
  • GTest & GMock
  • Knowledge on IEC61850
  • Self-managed, disciplined and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient in public speaking
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and systems thinking
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrated cross-cultural flexibility
  • Good Knowledge about Agile Methodologies and experience in multi-squad/organization setup
  • Fluent in English
