This position is for a Product and System Application engineer in Singapore, specializing in three-phase, cooling, and edge solutions.
It is a customer-facing position focused on promoting Schneider’s Secure Power and Data Center capabilities, solutions portfolio, and managing the bid process through to successful project implementation.
The engineer provides customers with a unified “One Face” engagement model, systematically driving solution design and bid activities with the primary goal of ensuring customer and partner satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
Throughout the entire offer life cycle, the Systems Engineer maintains active engagement with the customer.
What will you do?
Understand customer requirements and provide Schneider's total Portfolio solutions.
Promote SE's Transactional & Edge solutions to customer during prescription process Participate in customer meetings along with account manager to build customer trust in SE's products, systems, technology and capabilities Define specific value proposition for customer project application and improve winning probability Educate and train customers and partners on SE's data center and secure power solutions Work with Solution Architects/design engineers/Offer managers and Bid team to provide complete, accurate and approved solution proposal to customer Enure solution compliance to standards, regulations, codes and safety requirement for the application, environment and geography Solutions offered must ensure successful installation, commissioning and operation Prepare total solution proposal package for customer projects to include architecture, capacity calculation, design calculations, drawings, specifications, schematics, solution presentations, value propositions, etc Peer review total data center and secure power solution architectures Implement and comply with standard process, tools and methodologies Take part in all necessary training for competency development and performance improvement.
Mentor and train other team members.
Provide periodic updates and report on performance and goals Liases with the business development/ product managers of Transactional and Edge for detailed product related queries/specification when required.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in systems engineering or related roles.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
Domain Expertise: Proven expertise in at least one Secure Power domain (mandatory).
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of data center infrastructure and operations.
Familiarity with end-to-end multi-business unit (Multi-BU) data center solutions (desired).
