With Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) growth as a key strategic priority, the D2C team is seeking an experienced Senior Proposition Manager to lead the development of compelling omni-channel propositions, services, and experiences for both B2C and B2B customers. This role is crucial in translating Samsung’s D2C vision into actionable strategies that drive customer engagement, increase conversion rates, and deliver sustainable sales growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

By joining our team, you will play a central role in crafting innovative solutions that resonate with our customers across D2C channels – online and instore. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering impactful propositions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations, while ensuring Samsung stays ahead in the rapidly evolving digital and retail marketplace.

Strategy and Vision

  • Define and execute the proposition roadmap aligned with Samsung’s D2C strategy
  • Identify new propositions and opportunities for differentiation
  • Develop measurement frameworks to track and evaluate performance to optimise existing propositions to ensure continuous improvement

Market and Consumer Insights

  • Conduct in-depth market and consumer trend analysis to inform strategic decisions and opportunities
  • Benchmark competitors and assess internal capabilities to pinpoint areas for innovation

Proposition Development, Design and Launch

  • Requirements gathering and analysis to identify and prioritise proposition development
  • Develop robust business cases for new initiatives working with finance teams
  • Lead commercial contract negotiations with third-party partners to deliver impactful propositions

Stakeholder Management and Governance

  • Lead a matrix team to manage projects from concept to market launch and post launch optimisation
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across D2C and broader business units to ensure support
  • Manage project issues, risks and approvals to ensure seamless integration
  • Report on performance metrics and track progress to drive continuous improvement

Omni-Channel Focus

  • Drive omni-channel development opportunities across all Samsung product categories (B2C and B2B)
  • Ensure consistency and synergy across all touchpoints, enhancing the overall customer journey.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years in e-commerce, proposition development, product or digital roles at a major brand, marketplace, retailer, agency, or consultancy
  • Experience in consumer electronics is desirable but not mandatory
  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of e-commerce value levers and economics
  • Experience working with 3rd parties and leading legal contract negotiations
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Customer-centric mindset with expertise in customer journey mapping and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Experience in developing new proposition concepts and business cases
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with a willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and presentations
