As part of our continued expansion across Europe, Samsung Germany is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Service Pre-Sales lead for Open Radio Access Network services within Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who can demonstrate a consistent record
in responding to Service pre-sales activities with the ability to articulate our submission to respective customers.
This role may be based in Dublin Ireland or Reading UK but will require travel to customer locations across the EU.
The on-boarding timeline for this role is expected to be Q1 2026
This is a contract position reporting to the Project Director in the Samsung Networks services Organisation
Role and Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities
Working closely with the Service/Solution and Sales teams you will be responsible for the following activities

Review and provide compliancy to RFP documentation
-
Be responsible for the Service components of I&C tenders ensuring 3rd party compliance and scope adheres to customer requirements

Document swap methodologies that minimise network downtime
-
Prepare deployment plans according to volumes indicated in the RFP

Own the relationship 3rd parties related to field services ensuring compliancy and scope is correct and support Procurement for pricing activities

Full accountability for completing the Service submission in the areas of I&C, field and SPMS services including costings, compliance and statement of works

Prepare customer presentation material to an especially high standard

Present proposals to customers at both online and face to face meetings
-
Develop and sustain constructive connections with both internal and external stakeholders from the beginning, ensuring your main collaborator map is clearly defined from the beginning.

Work in close collaboration within the Samsung organisation to establish processes and statements of works related to Network Deployment activities
-
Drive innovation by exploring new ideas and solutions that improve efficiency and minimise network downtime.

Analyse multiple RFP data sources to identify trends, insights, and develop systematic approaches to RFP responses to improve efficiency.
-
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to support decision-making.
-
Define end-to-end RAN Rollout activities, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Define project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
-
Educated to Degree Level, preferably in Telecoms, Electronics or Computer Science/IT
-
Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS project (High Competence), Power BI
-
Minimum of 8 year’s experience in a relevant service role with past experience in service pre-sales
-
Proven experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) rollout
-
Fluent in spoken and written English, other languages an advantage
-
Excellent report writing and data management skills
-
Exceptional ability to navigate large and complex organisations to build relationships and influencing capabilities
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Willingness and ability to travel within the EU

You will have identified the key stakeholders internal and external and built strong relationships from the outset

You will be recognised in Samsung as a real team player who works across the teams both internal and external to create both a successful submission and a real mindset of working together to achieve results

You will have owned the Service submission from reviewing the service requirements, preparing the compliance responses, statements of work, costings and supporting the Sales team for pricing efforts.

You will own the engagement with 3rd party I&C, field service providers in the market ensuring the tender documents issued to the suppliers reflects the project requirements. You will review 3rd party responses and approve 3rd parties selection with the procurement team

You will have presented and defended our RFP response to customers ensuring high quality service delivery
