Sr. Product Manager – Ads Monetization

About the Team:

Samsung Ads, a division of Samsung Electronics America, powers innovative and data-driven advertising experiences across Samsung’s ecosystem of more than 50M Smart TVs and 200M connected devices. We deliver ad experiences that connect brands with consumers, drive meaningful engagement, and deliver measurable outcomes for advertisers. The Ads Supply Product team is highly visible, with direct impact, ownership and accountability for monetization outcomes across all of Samsung Ads supply globally.

Role Overview:

Samsung Ads is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Product Manager for Supply Monetization. In this role, you will drive maximum efficiency and value across our CTV advertising ecosystem. This is a unique, high-impact role focused on identifying and capturing significant yield improvements and efficiencies across our technology and operations surface area. You will get to partner with teammates across the world, working together on one of the most dynamic businesses in CTV.

Role and Responsibilities:

Product Ownership & Monetization Outcomes

  • Own the efficient utilization of our supply, defining strategy and solutions for monetization improvements, pricing models, process changes, and packaging

  • Evolve monetization frameworks going across all supply (in-stream, TV native, mobile) and all demand channels (direct, PG/PMP, open market, etc.)

  • Partner with senior leadership to set revenue-driving MBOs and overall ads monetization strategy

  • Maintain a groomed backlog and product roadmap for yield optimization improvements, pricing logic, floor strategies, forecasting and inventory management.

Analytical Excellence

  • Maintain high standards of analytical rigor by collaborating with Data Engineering and BI teams, and self-serve by leveraging SQL and BI platforms

  • Partner closely with data science teams to design and operationalize algorithms that balance revenue, fill, advertiser performance and viewer experience

  • Translate complex monetization concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps for Engineering, Privacy and cross-functional stakeholders

Cross-Functional Stewardship

  • Organize cross-functional resources to deliver projects at scales ranging from transactional to transformational

  • Partner with Sales, Ad Ops, Finance and Strategy to align product decisions with go-to-market realities and revenue targets

  • Act as the subject matter expert for supply monetization internally, clearly communicating tradeoffs and business impact.

Experience

6-10+ years of Product Management experience with deep experience in ads monetization, ad tech and or CTV/digital video platforms.

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, or comparable technical experience.

  • Competence in SQL and analytics development on platforms such as Quick Sight, Domo, or Tableau.

  • Deep knowledge of supply-side dynamics: pricing, yield optimization, auctions, direct vs. programmatic demand.

  • Familiarity with ad servers, SSPs, and DSPs. CTV experience preferred.

  • Strong ability to identify new monetization opportunities by bridging cross-functional insights and leveraging engineering capabilities.

  • Highly analytical mindset with experience using data to drive prioritization and product decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including asynchronous collaboration with distributed teams and comfort influencing senior stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA is expected to be between $165,000 ~ $215,000 base. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
