Job Description:

As a Power Platform Co-op Student, you will work with a team of industry professionals to support the transition from Excel-based analytics to Microsoft Power Platform solutions. You will assist with building dashboards, automating workflows, and supporting data integration projects that drive business process improvements and digital transformation.

You will report to the Business Operations Manager and work a hybrid schedule in Cambridge. This position is not offering relocation or housing support for this role and will only be considering students that live locally to our Cambridge office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Power BI dashboards, automate workflows in Power Automate, help develop Power Apps, and support solution testing.

  • Clean and transform data with Power Query, connect sources to Power BI, integrate business data, and ensure accuracy.

  • Document processes, create guides, help users transition, and maintain workflow records.

  • Join training, collaborate with teams, seek feedback, and pursue professional development.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred

You Might Also Have:

  • Preferred major in Business Technology Management, Management Information Systems, Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Share Point, Teams).

  • Previous experience with data analysis or reporting (coursework or projects).

  • Basic programming knowledge (Python or SQL) is an asset but not required.

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps (coursework, projects, or self-study).

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $20/hour - $28/hour. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
