THE WORK:

Ripple is hiring a Product Operations Analyst to help grow and scale Ripple’s rapidly growing product offerings. This role reports to the Financial Services, Director. You will work closely with important internal collaborators from Markets, Risk, Treasury, and Legal teams. Your efforts will support Ripple’s global, around-the-clock business operations. Responsibilities include managing operational support tasks like reconciliation, trade support, exception processing, funding, and settlement. This role involves building processes, setting up systems, developing settlement instructions, and managing transactions while making sure our risk management framework, policies, and procedures are upheld.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Partner with various sectors within Finance and Operations, and external customers, to secure timely settlement of crypto and fiat funds.

  • Reconcile positions and balances for various business operations including company-issued stablecoin.

  • Collaborate with the Ripple Trading and Markets team to monitor intraday trading and settlement activity.

  • Understand risks and requirements for various types of assets, including cryptocurrencies, to ensure quick responses to market activity and exceptions.

  • Record transactions in systems to maintain bookkeeping entries that reflect product and operational activities within Ripple’s systems of record.

  • Become an expert in the existing finance operational flows by working with key collaborators to detail existing processes.

  • Support a globally distributed customer base for our 24x7 product offerings, including supporting customer activity on weekends and holidays.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Relevant hands-on operations, clearing, and settlement experience, including reconciliation.

  • Experience with monitoring venues and systems in real-time to uncover and resolve exceptions, breaks, and blocking issues.

  • Willingness to work a weekend shift pattern as and when required. Our team operates during agreed business hours in shifts aligned to your region across a follow-the-sun model globally.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and remain organized in a dynamic environment.

  • Dedicated with a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Ideal experience with implementing off-the-shelf and in-house solutions.

  • Broad understanding of markets and instruments (cleared, OTC, crypto, derivatives).

  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles is advantageous.

  • Experience in SQL and crafting queries for daily operations is a plus.
