Technical Producers at Riot guide development teams to build, launch, and operate experiences that delight players worldwide. We push projects across the finish line while ensuring our teams work sustainably in a collaborative and inclusive environment. AI Foundations is looking for a curious, experienced delivery and operations expert to join our team, which is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of AI to make it better to be a player and a Rioter.

As the Senior Technical Producer for the AI Foundations initiative, you will be the operational backbone for a rapidly growing organization of nearly 40 people across four distinct development areas (ML platform, AI developer workflows, game understanding agents, and product-specific AI enablement). You'll own and evolve the work systems that help our teams deliver reliable, production-ready AI/ML products to partners across every live game, R&D, and central technology group at Riot. Partnering with development teams as a delivery coach, you will refine processes to improve predictability, efficiency, and our overall rate of learning. You will report to the head of AI Foundations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the initiative's work system, including its rituals, tracking, and reporting practices, turning delivery principles into practical, repeatable processes.

  • Drive a delivery culture that balances the rigor required for production platforms with a bias for action, fostering fast iteration, high accountability, and a rapid rate of learning.

  • Act as a delivery coach, partnering with teams to assess their health, identify operational pain points, and improve their sustainable development practices (including MLOps and CI/CD).

  • Partner with product and engineering leads to facilitate technical discussions, align teams to strategic priorities, and ensure clear, predictable communication with all stakeholders.

  • Assess and manage team staffing and funding to ensure the organization is set up for success.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager on technical teams.

  • Experience creating and scaling fit-for-purpose development processes (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, hybrid models) that align with team needs and product goals.

  • Experience shipping technical platforms, backend services, MLOps infrastructure, or developer-facing tools.

  • Strong technical knowledge, with experience translating product strategy into actionable development plans.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Direct experience producing for teams building and operating ML systems, with deep familiarity of the end-to-end model lifecycle.

  • Experience facilitating the development of ML platforms, such as production workflow orchestration, model serving infrastructure, or feature stores.

  • Experience working with SRE, DevOps, or software operations engineering teams.

  • Experience in game development.
